Starting Treatment Essence - Rose Edition

After several uses made my skin bumpy and broke me out. Stopped using it. After a week came back to it just to see the same results again. When I'm not using this product, my skin turns back to normal. Male, 28 years old, combo skin leaning more to dryness. I'd been using ferments in a skincare before and hadn't broke me out(numbuzin no3).

This essence as a mild Rose fragrance and it's quick to absorb to the skin.

I like this starting essence, it feels so pleasant on the skin. It is watery but gives a refreshing feeling after cleansing. For hydration it is not enough as far as you have dry skin. In this case you have to layer it or better go on with a moisturising essence or serum.

I bought this essence in hopes of getting a boost of hydration from my other products and see some of the benefits of the galactomyces but I've been left pretty over the fence. This essence is not as weightless as other starting essences but has very little body to it, it ends up finding itself in an inbetween texture limbo for me that makes it a product I don't see myslef gravitating towards, especially because the texture comes with the hydration level - just not quite enough. If you know that your skin adores galactomyces as an ingredient then it might be worth to give this essence a try, my skin seems to be rather indifferent to it so I'm not the best to talk when it comes to this, and if you've never tried a galactomyces prouct and you'd like to see how your skin reacts to it then this is one that's both easy to incorporate to any routine and won't break the bank. Final veredict: It's worth it if your skin likes the star ingredients, otherwise it won't be much of a highlight.
